Behaviour Support Worker
Hours: 37 hours per week, term time only plus five occasional days
We are seeking a highly motivated, exceptional individual to take on the role of behaviour support worker. The successful candidate needs to have extremely high expectations to ensure all pupils achieve to the best of their ability.
Day-to-day activities will include supervision of a withdrawal room where pupils silently reflect on the Kennet values, personal support and challenge for our pupils, specific interventions, as well as liaison with subject teachers and external agencies (where required).
This role includes the opportunity to be involved in co-curricular life of the school, including the possibility of becoming an assessor for our DofE programme or participation in the CCF.
We are looking for applicants who have:
• experience working with children
• an interest in working with pupils with a range of behavioural and educational needs
• a caring, flexible, resilient professional approach.
