Job overview

 An exciting opportunity to join the Capital City College Training as a Bid Manager.  The post holder will be expected to own the end-to-end bidding process for CCCT and to submit commercially successful bids. You will need to assemble a bid team with the relevant service, product and business knowledge. The team will be required to write, prepare and submit winning bids, for opportunities across different business areas including apprenticeships, commercial training, international and employability.

Responsibilities include implementation of all necessary bid procedures, governance, and relevant processes. The post holder will write bids - producing and editing content for tender submission. It will require working within a complex business environment to produce clear and successful bids, with responsibility to lead bid content review meetings, content sign off and document production. This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines. It will require strong people management and commercial skills.  The Bid Writer/Manager will centrally own, update and manage the bid pipeline database, and maintain a knowledge database of bid content.

Experience
Proven capability in delivering winning complex training and education opportunities in both apprenticeship levy paying and non-funded organizations. Ideally has a background in solutions and services and experience of bid campaign management from opportunity identification through to project delivery. He or she will provide valuable input into opportunity qualification, win strategies, commercial discussions and solution design. Proven skills in producing and editing proposal content within a complex business environment.

Westminster Kingsway College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational further education college in the London Borough of Camden and the London Borough of Westminster, serving pupils from the age of 16 and above. The college has approximately 14,000 students on record every year.

Westminster Kingsway College was founded in 2000 after the amalgamation of Westminster College and Kingsway College. It has learning centres across London in King’s Cross, Regents Park, Camden, Victoria and Soho. It offers students a number of full and part time courses including A levels and vocational courses at Level 1, 2, and 3. The college provides training on behalf of a range of organisations, including South Bank University, Compass Limited, Travelodge, The British Council and Ministry of Defence.
