Benenden School is looking for a well-qualified Billing Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Head of Financial Accounting (HOFA), the Billing Manager will oversee the billing function within the School. They will manage all aspects of the fee invoice preparation process, as well as the preparation and management of the monthly and termly direct debit collections, setting up new accounts on the sales ledger and posting receipts. The Billing Manager is also responsible for providing termly reconciliations of fees and deductions, ensuring all recharges are billed and queries from the billing process are answered.
In addition to this, the successful candidate will manage the credit control function providing regular debtor reports, issuing statements and relevant debtor communications in line with School policy.
The successful candidate will have strong excel skills, excellent management skills and ideally have a good working knowledge of accounts software packages. Applicants should be hard working, flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities. They will be able to assist other roles within the team and step in to provide cover during absences or busy periods.
