Billing Manager

Reporting to the Financial Bursar, the Billing Manager will oversee the billing function within the school. 

Main duties entail managing all aspects of the fee invoice preparation process and the preparation and management of the monthly and termly direct debit collections, setting up new accounts on the sales ledger and posting receipts. The Billing Manager would also be responsible for providing termly reconciliations of fees and deductions and ensuring all recharges are billed and answering any queries from the billing process. In addition, the successful candidate would manage the credit control function, providing regular debtor reports, issuing statements and relevant debtor communications in line with school policy.

The successful candidate will have strong Excel skills, excellent management skills and ideally have a good working knowledge of accounts software packages. Benenden is one of the leading day and boarding schools in the country. Founded in 1923, Benenden School is situated in 250 acres of attractive parkland in Kent, the Garden of England. There are 550 girls in the school, aged 11-18.

Meals are provided to staff whilst on duty. The school’s leisure facilities, including a fitness gym and swimming pool, are available for staff to use.
