Eastbourne College is seeking an experienced laboratory technician to coordinate the use of resources and facilities and provide assistance and advice in meeting the practical needs of the Biology curriculum.

The Biology Department offers inspirational teaching within and beyond the College’s cutting edge Science Centre, ensuring a wide range of practical work with extensive resources in the four spacious, state-of-the-art Biology laboratories.

The successful candidate will have a strong science background and, ideally, previous experience of working within a school environment.

Normal working hours are 37.5 hours per week to be worked Monday to Friday during term time plus four weeks at the beginning and/or end of term (37 working weeks in total).
