Bellerbys College Cambridge wishes to appoint a permanent part time Biology Teacher to join their team. 

As a College specialising in Science and Engineering, Biology is a key subject area which benefits from substantial curriculum time, delivering a range of courses including IGCSE, A level, and the Bellerbys University Foundation Programme.  

The College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students and as such all staff will be expected to undergo appropriate safeguarding training and operate within these guidelines.  

All successful applicants will undergo child protection screening including an enhanced DBS and Barred List check from the Disclosure and Barring Service

Bellerbys College Cambridge is a further education college in Cambridgeshire, serving students between the age of 14-21. There are approximately 420 students on roll. There are colleges in London and Brighton, and all three are owned by the Study Group International.

Bellerbys College Cambridge opened in 1996 and is spread across three teaching sites in Cambridge.

Bellerbys College Cambridge wants all students to fulfil their learning potential in a stimulating and welcoming teaching environment. The college wishes to nurtures pupils as successful, confident, pro-active citizens, who are fully prepared for the challenges and opportunities in a modern, global society. It is important to the Cambridge college that all pupils feel happy, safe and well cared for, and a wide range of student support is provided, including counselling, financial advice and a first aid service. The college aims to help students discover their skills and talents and encourages them to get involved with extra-curricular activities, ranging from sports clubs to competitions. The college wants to provide students with an outstanding education, and has seen past pupils go on to study at Oxbridge and Russell Group univeristies. Bellerbys College Cambridge's small classes hold a maximum of 12 pupils, allowing for teachers to get to know students as individuals and understand their preferred learning style.
