GHARS International School is in search of a dynamic and passionate Biology Teacher to become a part of our esteemed faculty. Are you ready to ignite a love for biological sciences in our students, guiding them towards a deep understanding of life sciences at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels?

Responsibilities:

Design and deliver captivating Biology lessons tailored to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, in line with our curriculum standards and national guidelines.

Cultivate an inclusive and encouraging learning environment, empowering students to explore and excel in the field of Biology.

Employ a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles, encouraging active engagement and analytical thinking.

Integrate real-life examples and projects into the curriculum to enrich students' understanding and appreciation of Biology's significance.

Assess student progress through regular formative and summative assessments, offering constructive feedback to support their continuous development.

Collaborate with fellow educators to exchange ideas, develop interdisciplinary projects, and enrich the Biology curriculum.

Maintain open lines of communication with parents and guardians, keeping them abreast of student progress and fostering strong home-school connections.

Requirements:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification, along with a degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field.

Demonstrate proficiency in teaching Biology at Key Stage 3 and/or Key Stage 4 levels, with a solid grasp of curriculum frameworks and assessment criteria.

Possess a strong grasp of contemporary trends, tools, and technologies in biology education, encompassing areas such as genetics, ecology, physiology, and microbiology.

Exhibit enthusiasm for nurturing students' scientific inquiry, curiosity, and critical thinking skills.

Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

Show dedication to ongoing professional development, staying informed about emerging trends and best practices in biology education.

Desirable: Experience in organizing biology-related extracurricular activities such as nature clubs, science fairs, or environmental conservation projects.
