Job overview
Aim: The Sixth Form Administrator will support the day to day running of the Sixth Form as well as helping to maintain regular communication with all relevant parties.
Accountability: The Sixth Form Administrator is responsible to the Director of Welfare, however will receive their day to day tasks from the staff from which they are supporting.
General Responsibilities:
• To provide administrative support to the Boarding House Team and Director of Academic and Pastoral Care,
• To assist with the efficient administration of the daily functions and routines of the Boarding House;
• To be prepared to assist with administration matters across the School as required by the Director of Welfare;
• To be present to support the girls pastorally during the day;
• To administer medication and basic first aid as required;
• To be responsible for the management and running of the pupils’ records;
• Collating travel information;
• Typing reports;
• Collating information for re-charges;
• Booking trips and activities;
• Undertaking word processing, spread sheets and other ICT based tasks;
• Filing and photocopying;
• Answering the telephone and answering emails both internally and externally;
• Maintaining accurate records and required paperwork; including for UKVI compliance along with the Deputy Housemistress;
• Assist with preparations for events when required;
• Working with the Director of Welfare and Head of Boarding to ensure smooth and accurate communication of information to boarding staff.
