Boarding Housemaster [Teaching]

Taunton School International is looking to appoint an outstanding professional with a proven record of accomplishment in pastoral care, and with strong personal skills, to become a member of our team of Boarding houseparents’ from mid-August 2023.

This post plays a key role in the pastoral leadership of the school alongside the other Houseparents. As a Housemaster, you will be empathetic and adaptable, with a shared responsibility approach. You will have high expectations of behaviour, and you will understand of the challenges facing young people.

Your holistic responsibility for the pupils in your care will be vital as they grow and develop - your overview of their pastoral and academic lives is vital in supporting their success.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Teacher, and educated to degree level in a relevant subject, with demonstrable experience of safeguarding policies and procedures coupled with boarding house experience.
