Skegness Grammar School  is now recruiting for a Residential House Parent for its Boarding House at Wainfleet Hall, Lincolnshire. 

The roles require effective individuals who will assist with the day-to-day running of and continued development of the Boarding facilities.  

Duties include:

  • To ensure the smooth running of the Boarding facility at Wainfleet Hall.
  • To collect pupils from school who are unwell and bring them back to the Boarding House to supervise and look after them.
  • To supervise during the evenings
  • To help with Borders’ activities during the evenings and at the weekend if on duty.
  • To drive pupils to and from activities after school.
  • To provide a sympathetic presence in the house and to be sensitive to those who are having difficulties coping with school life.
  • To liaise closely with the Head of Boarding and other House Staff concerning the progress and welfare of pupils.
