Boys Boarding House Parent

Green Hills Academy, is a family of four schools serving 1,700 students in Kigali, Rwanda. The Boarding facility is in its second year of operation and has the capacity to house 102 boarders in two purpose built facilities. The school offers the Cambridge program for grade 9 and 10 and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program for Grades 11 and 12. The Boarding program is open for students from Grade 7 to 12.

An experienced Boarding House Parent is sought. Qualities needed are enthusiasm, strong communication and organizational skills, empathy towards boarding students and the ability to provide structure, routine and a deliver a multi faceted program focused on academics, behavior, independence and personal responsibility. A full clean driving license is required and the ability to speak French is an asset.

Tax free accommodation is provided in a new three bedroom suite attached to one of the Boarding Houses.  All term time meals are available on campus.

An attractive package is offered including a competitive salary, medical coverage, and return flights. The position will involve 20 % boarding and 80 % teaching duties. The school is open to considering a teaching couple.
