The School is looking to appoint an experienced Brazilian Portuguese Tutor to teach GCSE on a one to one to basis

Main duties

Teaching and Learning:

• Deliver the GCSE Brazilian Portuguese curriculum as relevant on a one to one basis
• Prepare and develop teaching material as appropriate.
• Be accountable for the attainment, progress and outcomes of the pupil you teach.
• Maintain standards of discipline according to the school’s codes of conduct and in line with the school’s rewards and sanctions programmes.

Assessment and Recording:

• To use an appropriate range of observation, assessment, monitoring and recording strategies, using data to set targets and plan lessons
• To give pupil feedback – orally and through accurate and timely marking
• To set prep/homework
• Communicate progress/achievements with parents/carers using school systems/processes
