Job overview

We have a vacancy for a Breakfast Club Assistant and Named Pupil Teaching Assistant. As Breakfast Club Assistant you will:

  • Support the Club Leader and other Assistants in all aspects of the running of our popular club
  • Help serve and clear away breakfast
  • Ensure that the health and safety needs of each individual child are met at all times
  • Is patient and understanding when working with children
  • Be self-motivated and reliable
  • Be willing to undertake paediatric first aid training – to be arranged by the school


As Named Pupil Teaching Assistant you will be supporting a year 3 child with an EHC and will:

  • Have experience working with children who have complex special educational needs , including ASD
  • Have Social Communication Experience
  • Be flexible and able to work collaboratively with other members of staff
  • Be an excellent communicator committed to being part of an effective team within the whole school community
  • Be patient and understanding when working with children
  • Be self-motivated and reliable
  • Have a willingness to undertake training
  • Be enthusiastic with a good sense of humour

 Hours of work:   8.00am-1.00pm (25 hours per week) Monday to Friday in term time
