South Staffordshire College require an innovative, dedicated and enthusiastic Bricklaying Teacher to support our growing construction provision.

In addition to delivering and assessing the practical and theory elements of our bricklaying programmes from Level one through to Level 3 the successful applicant will also have duties relating to the course management of a co-hort of construction learners and will be actively involved with many offsite projects and visits.

The successful applicant will take an active role in the learner recruitment process and in helping to run promotional events to raise the profile of our construction provision.

Essential qualifications for this role include relevant industrial / trade qualifications to level 3 and  relevant experience within the bricklaying and construction industry.

Desirable qualifications include teaching and assessor awards.  If you don’t have these desirable qualifications and you are successful in gaining the post you will be expected to undertake these in a reasonable time frame, for which the college will support you.
