Salary Range £67,183 to £77,048 per annum (L21 – L27) (based on current values)

This is an exciting opportunity to lead Britannia Primary School and Nursery which is part of Gippeswyk Community Educational Trust. Our vision is to provide the best educational and personal development opportunities for all our pupils from the ages of 3 to 18.

The academy has 653 pupils including the nursery. The academy is very popular and is oversubscribed. Rated as “Good” in the last inspection in September 2013. The academy has a strong staff team and an outstanding ethos and culture.

We are looking for a committed, passionate, experienced and proven leader who can take the academy forward to its next stage of development and drive our aim to become outstanding. This is a great time to join the Academy. We are good at what we do and are always striving to do better.

You will be an inspirational leader with a successful track record of recent/current experience in a Primary. You will be able to balance the varied demands of the post and to make real the vision by harnessing and developing the strengths of the team and the academy community. You will make a major contribution to the development of the Trust and become part of a strong team.
