The successful candidate will be academically able, an excellent PE teacher, an excellent communicator, capable of giving effective and inspiring leadership to staff, and will fully understand the commitment required of all staff in our busy and complex school.
The Head of Sport should be an adaptable educator and innovative leader. He/She should be a great teacher, motivator, communicator and administrator and should be capable of managing school sport, preparing students and supporting colleagues for local and international extracurricular fixtures, competitions and tournaments. He/She should be able to provide professional leadership for colleagues to secure high-quality coaching, teaching and learning, make effective use of resources, and ensure improved standards of achievement for all students.
