Dair House School, Farnham Royal, SL2 3BY

Salary: Competitive

Hours: Full-time with 6 weeks annual leave

Start Date: January 2020

Dair House School is a wonderful, small independent school with a great team of teachers and fantastic children all working together in a nurturing family environment. Due to the relocation of our current bursar, we are seeking to appoint a hardworking, tenacious, qualified accountant with a hands-on approach and an eye for detailed while also working at a strategic level as part of the Senior Leadership Team in the role of Bursar.

Dair House is a non-selective prep school with 135 pupils and aims to ensure the best possible outcome for each child while ensuring each day is fun and varied. The Bursar works hard in all aspects of finance, estate management and compliance to ensure every child feels safe and happy. This includes accounts, payroll, health and safety, recruitment, site and contract maintenance plus building improvements. The Bursar works very closely with The Headmaster on a day to day basis and must be flexible to react to the daily occurrences of the school.

If you would like join a school where you will feel valued and are really able to make a difference, we are waiting to hear from you.

Please visit our website www.dairhouseschool.co.uk for an application form and job description and to find out more about our school. Visits to the school are always welcome.
