The Study Preparatory School, Wimbledon is a well-established and successful non-selective school for girls aged 4-11, grounded by four core values of compassion, curiosity, creativity and courage.
The Governing Board is seeking to appoint a high performing and strategic individual as Bursar and Clerk to the Governors who will play a key role in the overall management and development of the school.
Reporting to both the Head and the Chair of Governors, the principal objective of this role is to provide leadership and operational management in all areas of the non-educational aspects of the school including Finance, Estates, IT, Catering, Legal and Company Secretarial.
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent commercial and financial ability. They will need to have previously led and managed a multi-disciplinary team and be able to demonstrate strong inter-personal and communication skills.
A proactive and collaborative approach coupled with a strong commitment to helping the school enable the pupils to reach their potential will be key to delivering within this position.
Previous experience of working in a school is not essential however they will need to demonstrate a strong interest in the education and aspirations of young people along with a desire to support the School’s educational aims and values.
