Percy Shurmer Academy is a large two form entry primary academy. We currently have 440 pupils aged from 3 to 11 which also includes 29 children in our Nursery and 11 hearing impaired pupils in our Deaf Learning Base (DLB). The school is divided into Nursery and Reception (EYFS), Years 1 – 2 (KS1) and Years 3-6 (KS2). We also have Infant and Junior playgrounds plus separate playgrounds for Nursery and Reception children.
We are looking for a passionate, motivated and dedicated Business Administration Apprentice to provide professional administrative support to the Administration Team.
You will complete a Level 3 Business Administrator Standard and the opportunity to gain an Edexcel Diploma in Business Administration. You may also be required to complete English, Maths and IT Functional Skills (this will be determined by existing qualifications). Your Trainer/Assessor will assess you in the workplace on a monthly basis. In between these meetings you will have dedicated time away from your job to work on the apprenticeship and collate evidence for your apprenticeship e-portfolio with ongoing support from your Manager and Trainer/Assessor.

This will be a fixed term position and the duration of the apprenticeship will be determined by the job role and current skills. The minimum length of the apprenticeship will be one year and one week.
To be eligible for the Apprenticeship, applicants must have resided in the UK or EEA for 3 years prior to the start of the Apprenticeship.
