An exciting opportunity to work within a vibrant and dynamic international school in West London. The International School of London was originally founded in 1972 and was amongst the first schools in the country to offer the International Baccalaureate programme. There is a strong commitment to the on-going professional training of all staff and for providing leadership development at all levels.
We are currently looking for a Business and Economics teacher to join us in September 2018. The ideal candidate would be able to offer Business and Economics in the IB Diploma programme and Middle school programme. Experience of the IB DP and MYP programme is an advantage but not essential.
To teach Economics and Business and Management in the IB Diploma programme, with some teaching in IB Middle Years Programme, candidates should have previous teaching experience at A Level and/or IB Diploma, with a
preference for the latter.
Preference will be given to candidates who can also demonstrate:
- a relevant degree-level qualification or better
- a recognised teaching qualification
- experience of working in a highly diverse, international teaching and learning environment
- knowledge of the IB programmes, their aims and approaches to teaching and learning
