An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join our reputable and well established business development team at Derby College.
The focus of this role is to drive new business opportunities and maximise recruitment to both Apprenticeships and commercial training. You must have the ability to engage with employers with a track record of understanding of their organisational training needs. You will be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines whilst delivering excellent customer service. In order to be successful you must be self-assured and motivated in your ability to achieve your targets.
You should have proven experience of working in the field of business development in an education sector and hold a level 3 qualification or have relevant vocational experience.
You will receive training to ensure that you have an exceptional knowledge of the full range of apprenticeships and commercial training delivered by Derby College.

About Derby College
Derby College is a large general further education college with four sites in or near the city of Derby. It supports around 26,000 learners, who choose from more than 1,000 full-time and part-time apprenticeship, A-level, BTEC and NVQ courses.
Derby College was established as a single institution in 2002 by merging three further education colleges: Mackworth Tertiary College, Wilmorton Tertiary College and Broomfield Agricultural College. A merger between South East Derbyshire College and Derby College was approved in 2010. Heavy investment has been made by the college in its teaching and learning facilities, from the fully equipped teaching kitchens at the Roundhouse campus to the high-tech science labs at the Joseph Wright Centre and the Equestrian Centre at the Broomfield Hall campus.
