We are looking for a Business Development Manager to have a significant impact on our international growth by playing a pivotal role in driving strategies and sales initiatives.

About the role

As the Business Development Manager, you will act as a key conduit between departments, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving to meet strategic targets. You will collaborate with internal terms to bring viable products to market and enhance revenue growth across the International Network.

Key Accountabilities Include:

  • Advocate for Education Resources within the International Network, driving growth and representing Business Development
  • Ability to help drive our digital agenda and global reach
  • Lead key campaigns and projects to ensure successful product launches and market positioning.
  • Establish strong relationships across shared service forums and senior management teams
  • Use data and insights from regional teams to inform business and product development decisions
  • Measure the financial success of Resource activities and work with regional teams to drive strong performance

 

About you

You will have advanced communication abilities with the ability to utilise business insights to develop sales opportunities. Previous experience in educational publishing is advantageous, with notable experience of digital publishing, along with a proven track record in driving growth amidst change across diverse teams.

You will possess exceptional decision-making, negotiation, and storytelling skills, coupled with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and deliver results under tight deadlines. You will demonstrate success in sales management and business development, particularly within international markets.

  • Experienced education publishing sales professional, Project Management skills, partnership, and contract management experience
  • Awareness and appreciation of the global education sector.
  • Good financial skills and commercial sales experience
  • Good influencer, negotiator and problem solver
