The Governing Body wishes to recruit an experienced Business Leader to join our forward-thinking senior leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to be appointed as our first Business Leader and to be able to develop and establish the role within our outstanding and growing academy.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working at leadership level in an academy/school or similar setting. He/she will have strategic leadership of, and accountability for, the school’s business and financial functions and lead our well-established and ambitious operations team.

We are proud to be part of the Elliot Foundation and maximise the opportunities this presents to collaborate and work with other academies for the benefit of our students. The Business Leader will work closely with the central team in London and be part of an expanding multi-academy trust.

The successful candidate will:

  • Demonstrate outstanding business leadership with evidence of successful impacts
  • Have experience of effectively leading and managing teams and experience of appraising and developing others
  • Be successful in financial management, including income-generation initiatives
  • Be highly motivated and determined to ensure the greatest possible outcome for our students
