An exciting opportunity has arisen at Regent Middle East for experienced lecturers in Business to teach at brand new Dubai Campus in Dubai Knowledge Park.

Regent College London (part of Regent Group UK) is now in Dubai as Regent Middle East. We are looking to expand our faculty team and looking for an experienced Business lecturer to join our team from September 2022. The successful candidate will be delivering BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business as well as Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate would achieve the following in their role -

- Plan and prepare lessons that inspire, motivate and challenge students.

- Bring innovation and variety in the assessment methods to ensure that students have understood the key concepts.

- Quality contribution across all aspects of program delivery including lecturers, assessment, and grading both for in classroom and digital delivery.

- Take part in regular formative assessment which enables all students to improve and complete progress checks and reports as required.

- Participate in quarterly parent teacher meeting and engage with students and parents.

- Participate in Open days, events and exhibitions as required by the marketing team.

- Contribute to curriculum development and assist with the planning and marketing of courses where relevant.

- Experience working in a post 15 – age group including classroom management and expectation setting in a classroom.

- Maintaining and updating student records and undertaking regular trainings to operate the VLE.

- Open and curious mind to learn, adopt and improvise on REGENT academic guidelines.

- Support the Director of Studies in course planning, assignment briefs and other related tasks.

- Support the Director of Studies with external verification of the courses and ensure the paperwork for all courses is in order.

- Support with recruitment, enrolment of potential new students as well as student retention.

Experience

- Minimum 2 years teaching experience in both classroom and digital delivery model.

- Proven ability to plan and deliver high quality, creative and engaging lectures.

- A proven ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

- Experience of writing reports and coordinating a monitoring and evaluation system.

- Works collaboratively with other and ensures maximum participation.

Reporting Line

- Director of Studies at Dubai Campus

Required

- Teaching business and related subjects for at least two years.

- Teaching experience in BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business and Higher National Diploma in Business will be preferred.

- A relevant teaching/subject qualification

- Own driving license and car.

Applicant must be available in UAE.

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
