Bradford Forster Academy is a new 11-16 Church of England secondary Academy and part of the Bradford Diocesan Academies Trust (BDAT), a growing Christian Multi-Academy Trust based in Bradford. The Academy opened on 1st September 2015 and now has 350 students on roll in years 7 and 8 with 550 students from September 2017. Within BDAT there is an exciting opportunity to work across a variety of growing diverse schools.

This is a very exciting time for us and we are now looking to appoint a Business Manager who will be able to utilise their finance and business operations skills across the academy.

The Business Manager will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team and is a wonderful opportunity for a talented and ambitious professional to make a sustained and substantial contribution to the growth and development of the Academy. The role offers the successful candidate a challenge that will be both rewarding and fulfilling and will support you to achieve your own personal career goals and aspirations. 

The successful candidate will: 

  • Have experience of using PS Financials and Orovia BPS for the finance operation, along with other cloud based products such as Office 365. 
  • Have previous experience of working as a Business Manager in an academy setting.
  • Provide effective communication with the Head of School ensuring a co-ordinated approach on HR and payroll matters.
