Business Manager

The Headteacher and Governing Body would like to invite applications from suitably qualified individuals to join our small successful primary school. This post is advertised due to the impending retirement of our present Business Manager. We are looking for someone who has previous experience and can provide vision and leadership in all aspects of school administration. There are very good public transport links to our school.

The successful candidate will:

• Be part of the Senior Leadership Team
• Be approachable and supportive to pupils, parents and staff.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Business Manager who already has experience of strategic planning and managing a support team in a school environment. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of budget planning and implementation, finance, human resources, procurement and facilities management.

They will also be able to prioritise their work, be resilient, adaptable and diplomatic. Above all, they will need a sense of humour.
