Job overview

The University of Chichester Multi-Academy Trust is an innovative Trust and our passion is to improve educational outcomes for children and young people. We work collaboratively with our 15 academies (900+ staff) across West Sussex, Portsmouth and Hampshire, who all strongly align to our shared Trust values.

As a qualified or partly qualified accountant (CCAB or CIMA), within the much-valued financial team, you will provide a professional quality service, supporting our School Business Managers who have a range of differing expertise. This may include assisting with budget preparation, management accounts preparation and reporting. With the ability to develop positive relationships you will also work with senior leaders across the Trust and ensure compliance with academy and financial regulations.

This is a key role and will require you to visit our academies on a regular basis. It is a role that is exacting, challenging, varied, rewarding, stimulating and at times demanding, but one which you can make a real difference.

To find out more about this position and joining our friendly team, call Paul Jackson, Director of Finance and Operations on 01243 793463 or email p.jackson@chi.ac.uk. To discover the Trust and the values we share with our academies go to www.unicat.org.uk

Joining the team will provide you with a wealth of benefits and opportunity for career development. Benefits include a generous pension scheme, up to 36 days leave (incl. bank holidays), discount card, cycle to work scheme and employee assistance programme.

Closing date:            22 October    9.00 a.m.

Interview date:         3 November
