Overview of post
We are looking for teachers to work within our Business and Retail Department based at our Baltic Campus who will be responsible for the delivery of a suite of Business based subjects up to Level 3. The successful candidates will be able to teach a range of business subjects including; Marketing, Administration, Digital Marketing, Human Resources, Law and Finance.
This is a key position within the department, requiring an individual who has a strong industry background in business, a strong work ethic and a passion for teaching. We are looking for a dynamic, pro-active and inspiring individual who can motivate our business students to make excellent progress towards their academic and career ambitions.
You should ideally hold a Degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting or equivalent and hold a recognised teaching qualification. The post holder should also hold a qualification in assessing and quality assuring vocational achievement or be willing to work towards this. Experience of delivering BTEC National qualifications in Business up to level 3 along with accounting units, would be desirable. Experience of delivering AAT/Finance units and a vocational background would be an advantage.
