Full time, permanent position 

The Gold Standard Charitable Trust is a Registered charity, whose sole purpose is to widen access to outstanding education. Each year the Gold Standard Charitable Trust (GSCT) offers support to parents of talented pupils whose circumstances would otherwise put an independent school education beyond their reach. We work closely with our partner schools in order to widen access, helping them to reach out to local families and supporting them through the process of identifying candidates.

About the role

We are seeking a Campaign and Annual Fund Manager to manage fundraising campaigns and events across a number of schools whose pupils may be recipients of a Gold Standard Charitable Trust bursary award and to act as key support to the Director of Development.

Duties and Responsibilities  

  • To work alongside the Director of Development to create an annual campaign plan and strategy to increase fundraising revenue.
  • To implement campaigns across all participating schools including but not limited to year end appeals and deposit return appeals.
  • To develop and implement a robust parent-led fundraising event programme.
  • To work with relevant schools to organize fundraising events or secure fundraising platforms to facilitate fundraising activity for independently run school events.
  • To enter and track donation income and work alongside finance to reconcile gifts.
  • To follow up and acknowledge all donations involving the Heads as appropriate.
  • To work with prospective and current donors, engaging promptly with queries and following up regularly.
  • To manage the process of producing appeal and fundraising marketing materials, including copy generation, working with graphics on the design and printing of fundraising brochures, Annual Report, history books etc
  • To expand and manage the Kindergifts programme across schools.
  • Attend GSCT events to develop new relationships and introductions to new groups of donors and markets.
  • To assist the Director of Development with all scheduling, planning and minuting of all Steering Committee and Trustee Meetings.
  • To manage and control the development budget.
  • Other responsibilities as they arise.

Systems  

  • Experience in fundraising databases, Toucan Tech.
  • Proficient in Excel skills.
  • In Design skills

Qualifications and Skills  

  • Experience in fundraising campaign planning and management.
  • A proven track record of excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Frontline fundraising experience a plus.

Salary: Dependent on experience, with 25 days annual leave per year plus all Public Holidays.
