The role of Campus Principal is the leading professional position at Ridgeway Campus, directly reporting and accountable to the Principal Team for OneSchool Global UK and the Campus Administrator (CA). The primary objective is to provide professional leadership and management to promote a secure foundation from which to achieve high standards in all areas of the school.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Continually raise student aspiration, attainment and progress through improvement in the quality of teaching and learning across the key stages 
  • Provide leadership, inspiration and management and model outstanding teaching practice 
  • Ensure the effective implementation of the curriculum including the development and well-being of the individual learner 
  • Consistently manage and improve the performance of the teaching staff to enhance the delivery of an inspiring quality curriculum leading to better outcomes for all 
  • Demonstrate outstanding teaching practice and commit to a call teaching input as agreed with the school leadership team
  • Maintain an up-to-date and relevant school improvement plan in cooperation with staff, OSG UK and the wider professional team and rigorously implement its priorities 
  • Contribute to, share in and promote the wider and longer-term vision of the school 
  • Promote positive, appropriate and effective communications and relationships throughout the school community 
  • Uphold and promulgate the OneSchool Global Ethos and high moral values in all areas of the school

About OneSchool Global UK Ridgeway Campus

The start of the new school year sees our transition from the Victorian school in Cottingham to a new 40,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility in Scunthorpe. This excellent facility provides a technology-rich learning environment to assist our self-directed students from Y3 – Y13 to excel at the broad range of national curriculum subjects available. Up-to-date and current innovative use of technology enables our students to access a wider curriculum and team of professionals.
