Guildford College Group is seeking to appoint two highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to work as Careers Advisors within our Careers, Advice and Guidance team.

You will provide careers education and guidance to customers, prepare and support students in developing skills that increase employability and progression opportunities and develop career resources including on-line resources for tutors and students.

The two positions available are as follows;

- Stoke Park campus - part time, permanent position working 14.4 hours per week (0.4 FTE) 52 weeks of the year. This position can either be two full or three short working days. Actual salary £10,906 - £12,276 per annum

- Farnham Sixth Form College - part time, permanent position working 16.5 hours per week (0.3958 FTE) 38 weeks of the year (term time only). Actual salary £10,793 - £12,148 per annum

Guildford College is the largest further and higher education college in Surrey. Stoke Park Campus is set in parkland close to Guildford town centre and was opened in 1939. It was the first in south east England to have two Centres of Vocational Excellence - in Travel and Tourism and in Business, Finance and Accounting, and the first in Surrey to achieve Action for Business College Accreditation.

In total, the College offers over 500 courses from foundation to degree level. At Stoke Park Campus this includes A Levels, Art & Design, Business, Childcare, Construction, Hairdressing & Beauty Therapy, Hospitality, ICT, Performing Arts, Teaching, Travel & Tourism. Many students go on to work in local commerce and industry, benefiting the surrounding region with their talents and skills.
