Our School

Torquay Girls’ Grammar School is a girls’ 11 to 18 selective Single Academy Trust (SAT) in Torquay, Devon.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Careers Advisor to join a wonderful team and support our students in what is a hugely rewarding role. We are looking for someone who holds a Level 6 Careers Guidance qualification or similar. The successful candidate will provide professional career guidance services, including personal guidance interviews, in order to improve pupils’ skills, knowledge and understanding for career planning and management.

We are seeking to appoint a Careers Advisor for 7.5 to 15 hours per week (across one or two days), 38 weeks per year (term time only). The actual salary for this role is £4,488-£4,887 for 7.5 hours per week or £8,976-£9,774 for 15 hours per week. The number of hours and days of work will be agreed with the successful candidate.
