We are looking to employ a Careers Advisor to strengthen the existing student services team, with responsibility for the provision of careers and employability information, advice and guidance, with the aim of raising student aspiration.
A recognised careers qualification such as NVQ level 4 Advice and Guidance and, or the willingness to work towards, Level 6 Diploma in Careers Guidance and Development is essential, as is a good understanding of the local and national learning and work opportunities available to 16 to 19 year olds.
You will have had previous experience of working in careers guidance preferably within the Further Education sector. The ability to be creative, solution focused and to network effectively with key stakeholders is essential.
