Monday - Thursday 8:30am to 4:00pm Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm

35 Hours per week 40 weeks per year.

Actual Salary Range - £22,329pa to £23,905pa

With Level 6 Qualification in Career Guidance and Development

Scale 8 Point 25 -28.

Monday - Thursday 8:00am to 4:00pm Friday 8:00am to 3:30pm

37 Hours per week 42 weeks per year. (Including the GCSE and A-level results period)

Actual Salary Range -£31,445pa to £33,948pa

We are seeking a Careers and Employability Manager to lead the School's Career programme. The successful applicant would be expected to plan, implement and monitor a strategy for the School’s Careers Programme that meets all eight of the Gatsby benchmarks for good practice and prepares young people for the choices and transitions in education, training and employment.

The postholder will be responsible for line managing the work of the Careers & Employability Administrator. They will also be responsible for managing the external Careers Advisor, Or, if the post holder holds a Level 6 Qualification in Career Guidance and Development, provide 1 to 1 careers guidance with pupils.

The duties of the role will also include Extra-Curricular programmes, Work Experience and Mock Interviews along with Careers Advice. Please see attached Job Description for more details.
