Post :   Careers and Industry Placement Coordinator

Salary :   SO1, £30,585 - £31,557 per annum (to be pro-rata at 41weeks)

Hours :   35 hours per week, term time plus 2 weeks (41 weeks) 

Do you have a passion to support young adults in developing their career management skills?  We are looking to appoint a motivated, inspiring and exceptionally organised individual for this exciting position in our expanding Careers and Employability Team.  The successful candidate will join the team as the college launches its new Career Development Centre.  The post provides a wonderful opportunity to use your student and Employer engagement skills in a team that really makes a difference in preparing students to achieve their personal career goals, whilst meeting the demands of the labour market.  

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:  

  • Ability to inspire and coach our learners to undertake successful work placements and achieve their career goals  
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking and stakeholder management skills.  
  • Enthusiasm, self-motivated and have a proactive approach to tasks.  
  • Ability to develop an aspirational Careers Programme.
