An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead and develop careers and work placement opportunities for further and higher education students at Reaseheath College. Reaseheath is a specialist land based college based in Nantwich, Cheshire, federated to the University of Chester and has

University Centre status.

The college has a strong tradition of innovation and exceptional employer engagement, working closely with international, national and local companies within the land based and agri technology sectors. This role is pivotal in ensuring our students gain the right information, advice and guidance to progress successfully into employment or further education.

The post holder will be responsible for developing the careers service for further and Higher Education students and managing the co-ordination of work experience placements, through successful line management of a small team. 

Working in partnership with our students, academic departments, employers and external stakeholders the post holder will develop and deliver inspiring work experience and careers development through curriculum, extra-curriculum and timetabled initiatives.

The successful candidate will be qualified to degree level with a careers advice qualification or substantial experience within the careers advice field. They will have strong line management skills and the ability to build effective relationships.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to really shape and deliver an exceptional careers and work placement provision at Reaseheath College, supporting our employers and ensuring our graduates are highly employable.

About the College

Serving around 7500 students in delivering further and higher education courses, the College has grown significantly over recent years and has further ambitious plans for growth and development to serve the local and national communities. 

Since incorporation in 1993 the College’s portfolio of further and higher education courses and services has grown rapidly.  Courses are offered up to Honours degree level, through our Associate College Status with both Harper Adams University College and the University of Chester.  Work-Based learning and Train to Gain opportunities are provided, and a policy of access and progression for all students is vigorously pursued.
