We have a fantastic opportunity for an energetic, creative and well organised Careers and Progression Lead. You will be leading the delivery of HE progression and impartial Careers Guidance for students, in accordance with the mission and strategic plan of the College. Co-ordinating a team of Careers and Employability Advisers and a programme of key events/activities, to ensure students have access to an impartial and confidential service to address barriers and assist with individual career planning needs.  

As an integral part of Westminster Kingsway College's Careers & Employability Service you will be working closely with the Employability & Progression Lead to pro-actively develop the core service and programmes that meet the needs of our students preparing for a wide variety of careers and labour markets.   You will be Careers Guidance Qualified to Level 6 and have significant proven experience of providing Careers Education, Guidance, and Employability to a range of people including young people and adults, in an FE or educational setting.    

This role will demands a high level of professionalism as you will be coordinating a team of careers advisers, working closely with curriculum managers and external partners, along with reporting to leadership teams.  Excellent communication and presentational skills are essential to ensure that Careers and Employability offer is exception and in accordance with the mission and strategic plan of the College  If the above sounds like you and you are interested in applying for the above post please visit our website www.westking.ac.uk to download the job description/person specification and application form. About Westminster Kingsway College

Westminster Kingsway College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational further education college in the London Borough of Camden and the London Borough of Westminster, serving pupils from the age of 16 and above. The college has approximately 14,000 students on record every year.

Westminster Kingsway College was founded in 2000 after the amalgamation of Westminster College and Kingsway College. It has learning centres across London in King’s Cross, Regents Park, Camden, Victoria and Soho. It offers students a number of full and part time courses including A levels and vocational courses at Level 1, 2, and 3. The college provides training on behalf of a range of organisations, including South Bank University, Compass Limited, Travelodge, The British Council and Ministry of Defence.
