For August 2018, Bangkok Patana School is seeking to appoint a well-qualified, dynamic and experienced Careers and University Counsellor/Advisor. It is expected that the successful candidate has considerable experience and a track record of success in supporting students applying to top universities across the world and especially to the UK and USA, the most popular destinations for our students. Established personal links with US colleges and affiliations with organisations such NACAC/IACAC are highly desirable.  

Careers/University Counselling at Patana

The appointee will be joining a collaborative, dedicated and highly motivated team of four experienced counsellors. Responsibilities of the team include support for students from the beginning of Secondary School (aged 11) right through to Graduation including general careers advice, provision of work experience opportunities and focused one to one guidance in Years 12 and 13 of a specific group of students through all aspects of the university application process. The appointee will have strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills and will be able to respond effectively to the needs of a diverse student body through. Subject expertise, high energy levels and a willingness to provide the best possible service to our students and their families is essential. The Careers Faculty is well-resourced and supportive of professional development and actively encourages team members to attend University Events and Workshops around the world.
