Careers and Work Related Learning Advisor 

Fixed term to cover maternity leave until July 2020 (or the return of the post holder if earlier)

18.5 hours per week, Term Time Only (including 5 INSET days). Working times to be agreed.

Salary £10,389 - £11523 pa

We are seeking a well qualified and enthusiastic Careers and Work Related Learning Advisor to extend and develop our engagement with local employers and businesses.

The position requires the application of a variety of skills and personable qualities.  The new post holder will be the driving force for sourcing, generating and building new business opportunities for our students to order to give them employability skills and a breadth of experience that will make them the first choice for future employers and universities.

To be successful in this role you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to effectively motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential. You will also need to be well organised and IT proficient. 

St Katherine’s is a vibrant, medium sized 11 – 19 mixed comprehensive school and part of Cathedral Schools Trust.  We are situated on the edge of Bristol in a beautiful rural setting.  The majority of our students live in Bristol and due to the easy transport links, make a positive choice to travel out of the city each day to enjoy the wealth of opportunities that St Katherine’s has to offer.
