22.5 hours per week.  Term time plus 5 days

Co-op Academy Priesthorpe aims to provide an outstanding education for all our learners, founded on co-operative values, at the heart of the community. 

We are seeking to appoint a candidate to be responsible for the delivery of the Academy’s work experience programme and the impartial Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG). This key role co-orindates and monitors placements, ensuring that all activities are beneficial and support student’s classroom learning.

The successful candidate will have strong organisation skills, with the ability to work on their own initiative to source and secure placements. A good level of interpersonal and negotiation skills are required, as is an enjoyment of working with young people and a commitment to their careers education. All placements will need recording and monitoring, so the ability to record and analyse information is essential.

Co-op Academy Priesthorpe is a 'Good' school in Leeds (Ofsted, 2024) with Outstanding features. It is an 11-18 Academy with a Sixth Form and an intake of over 1000 students and around 135 staff. Originally a co-operative foundation school and part of the Leeds Co-operative School’s Network, they joined the Co-operative Academies Trust in July 2017.
