We are currently looking to appoint a Caretaker to ensure a clean, safe environment for all our stakeholders.


St. George’s Catholic Voluntary Academy, part of the St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Academy Trust, is a larger than average sized primary academy situated in Littleover, Derby. We have approximately 330 children on roll between Foundation Stage 2 and Year 6.


We have a passionate and dedicated staff team, who are committed to providing an outstanding education for the children.

We are looking for someone who possesses:


A keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of Health and Safety in a school context.

A well organised and proactive team player who will make a positive contribution to our school team and also be able to lead your own team of cleaners.

An ability to understand the importance of maintaining a safe and secure environment for all stakeholders within school

A high level of motivation and the ability to set and keep high standards.


Visits to the academy are warmly welcomed and encouraged.
