Caretaker

A full or part-time Caretaker is sought by girls' prep school in Rickmansworth Hertfordshire for August 2024

We are looking to appoint someone to undertake general maintenance and upkeep of the school (approximately a 3 acre site) ensuring that school buildings and the school site are maintained to a high standard and are secure. Maintenance includes gardening, repairs, painting tasks, basic plumbing and carpentry.

The successful candidate will need to be flexible and self-motivated, have good communication skills and a good understanding of health and safety. Previous experience of working in a school or a trade background with practical building maintenance skills would be advantageous. They will need to have high standards, good time management skills to prioritise duties and be able to work on their own initiative whilst also working as part of a team.
