Job overview

We are looking to appoint a friendly, practical and professional Caretaker to join our expanding primary school.

In September 2018, we will welcome our children and their parents into our new school building. We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our team of dedicated and hardworking support staff.

The successful candidate will be a great team player, with good communication, organisational and problems solving skills. We are looking for someone who relates well to children and can deliver exceptional customer service to support teaching and learning.

You must be able to;

  • deliver a range of caretaking and maintenance services
  • undertake general trade and maintenance tasks including repairs and DIY
  • use your own initiative and work to deadlines
  • build positive relationships with children, colleagues, contractors and suppliers
  • have a good knowledge of health, safety and hygiene.
