Charnwood College is now recruiting for a Caretaker, to join us as soon as possible. This role at Charnwood College could be the ideal next step in your career and is a fantastic opportunity to join a hard working team of school caretakers!

About the role

You will be responsible for security, safety, cleanliness and general maintenance of our school site.

This is a hands on role, requiring a range of practical and DIY skills.  IT skills would also be desirable but training will be provided.

Charnwood College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, 11-18 academy with sixth form, situated in the west of Loughborough in Leicestershire. The academy is part of the David Ross Education Trust and is governed by a Local Governing Body.

The secondary academy has expressive arts facilities which include a dedicated music suite and dance and drama studio. In addition, its sports facilities include a floodlit, all-weather 3G sports pitch, a new sports centre, a 25-metre indoor swimming pool, a gym, a fitness suite, and extensive playing fields.

Salary & Benefits

£19,686.00 pa for a 37 hour week.  Hours are primarily Mon-Fri 5.00 am-10.00 pm and either a Saturday or Sunday 8.00 am - 6.00 pm (shift work will be required) a degree of flexibility is required to cover sickness and holidays.
