We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed Caretaker to join the team at Carleton Park Junior & Infant School. The successful candidate will work under the instruction and guidance of the Headteacher to provide a well maintained, safe, secure and clean working environment for the school. They will take responsibility for the management and delivery of reactive maintenance tasks and undertake compliance checks as required, alongside supervising the cleaning team to ensure all areas meet the high standards expected by the school.


This is a 37 hours per week, all year round, permanent contract.


The working hours for this role are to be worked in a split shift format of Monday to Thursday 06:30 – 10:00 and 14:00 – 18:00, and Fridays 06:30 – 10:00 and 14:00 – 17:30.


We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person who:

 

  • has a passion for helping pupils thrive and meet their full potential.
  • has a friendly manner and can communicate effectively with staff and students.
  • can work effectively as part of a team but can also work independently using their own initiative.
  • has experience of working in a similar specialist area.
