About Raleigh Infant Academy

Raleigh Infant Academy are proud to be part of the Eastern Multi-Academy Trust, providing children of Thetford and beyond with a fantastic start to their education and life long learning.

At Raleigh we provide a broad, balanced and carefully structured early years curriculum through to the end of KS1. This enables every child to have the opportunity to increase their knowledge and understanding of the world in a safe, secure, stimulating and challenging learning environment.

Our children make good progress and become confident, motivated and effective learners. Our knowledge based curriculum supports the view that when ‘children know more, they learn more.’ The children will develop their knowledge and ability to apply this throughout a range of subjects.

We value the importance of partnership with families and want everyone to feel welcomed and  part of the academy. By encouraging a close relationship between teachers and parents, we are able to provide an environment where your child will develop academically and socially.

We believe that all children have the right to be healthy, happy and safe; to be loved, valued and respected; and to have high aspirations for their future.  Our behaviour expectations and PSHE teaching promotes social development to develop your child’s confidence, well-being and attitude towards others.
