Situated in the heart of North London, N14. Salcombe Preparatory School is among the leading independent schools in the area providing an outstanding all-round education to children from 3 to 11 years.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced caretaker/site manager to ensure the delivery and maintenance of a safe and secure environment for all pupils, staff, visitors, and contractors to the school’s two sites, which are approximately half a mile apart. You will be the initial point of contact for buildings, grounds, and maintenance and security. The successful candidate will be flexible and able to manage ever changing priorities. This role reports to the school’s Facilities Manager and will liaise closely with the school’s Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of health and safety and associated compliance regulations, as well as practical skills in building maintenance.
This role is for 30 hours per week,

History
Founded in 1918, Salcombe is a co-educational preparatory day school for children aged between 3 and 11. The school is situated on two neighbouring sites in Southgate, North London, and is served by excellent road and rail links.
Salcombe has a long tradition of success in preparing children for selective maintained and independent schools at 11+, as well as offering considerable opportunities for social, cultural and sporting activities.
