The Pingle Academy lies at the heart of the National Forest area for students aged 11-19 years. We benefit from a wide range of specialist facilities, which include extensive provision for sports, a well-equipped performing arts centre, a learning support base, two autism resource centres and a purpose built sixth form centre.

We are seeking to appoint a part-time Caretaker as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for lettings supervision, security of the site in the evenings, completing general maintenance and minor repairs to the academy premises, cleaning plus supervising of the cleaning team and ensuring all staff and students are provided with a safe learning environment.

This role offers an exceptional opportunity to the successful candidate.

The working hours for the post will be 30 hours per week, whole year, 15:30 – 22:00 Monday to Friday (inclusive of a 30 minute, unpaid break)  Salary will be paid on Grade 5, point 16-20 for which the current pro rata salary ranges from £14,853 to £16,067 per annum.  The actual salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience.

The Pingle Academy is an 11-19 co-educational, comprehensive school, became an academy in May 2017 and joined The de Ferrers Trust. Our over subscribed academy is the academy of choice in the local area and enjoys an excellent local reputation.
