Caring and Talented Nursery/EYFS Teaching Assistants (SPS 9-13)
30-35 hours a week

St Luke's Nursery is a new provision opening in September, it is a 50 place Nursery with 25 children expected to be on roll in the morning and 25 children for the afternoon. The nursery is aimed at 3 and 4 year old children.

Candidates should:

  • be flexible and organised, they should have high expectations of themselves and their pupils
  • be committed to maximising opportunities for learning both in and outside the classroom.
  • ideally have NVQ2 or NVQ3 qualifications

About St Luke's Church of England School

St Luke’s Church of England School is a co-educational primary academy in Maidenhead, Berkshire, for children aged 3-11. The school has strong ties with St Luke's Church. Students regularly visit the church and there is representation from church members during school assemblies.

St Luke's Church of England School is committed to promoting Christian values. There is a daily act of worship, which staff see as an important part of school life. The act of worship is broadly Christian in nature and incorporates aspects of personal, social, health and emotional education. Staff firmly believe that no child should be expected to worship in a way that undermines their own faith, but that children should also be encouraged to broaden their experiences and respect others.
