Hourly salary: £10.81 per hour

Required to start in January, the Hertfordshire & Essex High School is looking to appoint Exam Invigilators to join the Examinations Team . 

The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting the Examinations Team with the invigilation of internal and external examinations to ensure that these run smoothly and maximise opportunities for students. They will ensure that examinations are conducted in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications and the Awarding Body and Herts & Essex's regulations and instructions. Invigilators have a key role in upholding the integrity and security of the examination/assessment process.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, flexible and readily available during main exam periods. They will be highly organised, an effective communicator and have the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels in a professional manner. An ability to be a confident and reassuring presence to candidates in exams rooms as well as being able to give instructions and manage situations involving different groups of people is also necessary.
